Drifter (Live version recorded at the Marquee. Running Free (Demo version from 1979 with Doug Sampson on drums)Ģ. I guess there's a reason they've never talked about the game since it was first released (from what I can remember the initial idea was for a game called Melt, and IIRC it would be a Maiden-themed FPS of sorts).Īs for the songs on the High Vaultage CDs, here are the tracklists.ġ. But in the end I had to admit that Ed Hunter was nothing but a terrible game that had no other merit than its soundtrack and the settings based on old Maiden album covers. I tried to convince myself that since it was a Maiden game, it had to be good. And honestly how long did naysayers expect Issac to be startled by the necromorphs as opposed to be proactive and actively hunting them and the markers? But I'm going off on a tangent so I'll end it here DS2 is the shit. Don't see why a game can't be action packed but have frightening moments. I like the more action oriented direction of DS2 and seemingly DS3 continues that trend so I'm all for it. Can't say that I like Carver but hopefully DS3 comes together as well as its predecessors. Hopefully more questions are answered as opposed to being left unanswered in DS3. The only blemishes upon the game are its lack of progress regarding the overarching story of the marker it moreso centers on Issac and his personal struggles and the guilt he feels regarding Nicole's death. The gameplay is more intuitive and visceral, enemies are as relentless if not more so and Issac is a genuinely likable character. Its taken much inspiration from Uncharted 2 and improves upon it's predecessors in nearly every way. Dead Space 2 is masterful and is sensational to play.
